Victoria Orozco is a Mexican photographer and artist, currently based in Paris. Specialized in portrait, beauty, fine art, and fashion photography, with a Masters degree from Speos Photographic Institute Paris, Costume Design and Visual Arts in Mexico.
Her appreciation and passion for Arts from all fields including painting, music, fashion, sculpture, architecture, cinema, popular culture, and mass media are the main inspiration for her when it comes in the creation of her work. Some of her favorite photographers include Tim Walker, Helmut Newton, David LaChapelle, Rankin, Eugenio Recuenco, Nick Knight to name few from Fashion; Cindy Sherman, Bettina Rheims, Joel Peter Witkin, Philippe Halsman, Kertész, Graciela Iturbide, Mapplethorpe, Avedon, Man Ray, JR artist, Jean Paul Goude, Adam Fuss; artists using photography as a medium of expression.
She is interested in the impact, the imagination, the feelings, and the ideas a photographic work can bring to the viewer giving them the final and most important part in all the process.
Always exploring new and unconventional aesthetic ideas, Victoria is always excited to discover the beauty, the genius, the grotesque, the unseen and the power in every human being to captured it in her photographic work and ready for new, creative and risky projects and collaborations full of imagination.
